Walking
Walking from the one of our suggested hotels to the restaurant is easy and enjoyable. It allows you to visit M Street which is the heart of Georgetown. You can browse in the shops, watch the people, stop for a coffee, and feel the excitement of this historic area.
On your visit to Georgetown, one spot that you should also linger is the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Here you can view the Potomac River and the Kennedy Center. There are restaurants at this location, but none of them have the superb cuisine that you will experience at the Hook Restaurant. The Kennedy Center is another fun place to tour and is also in walking distance.
Below is a map of the area and the route from the Hook Restaurant to the different hotels, Foggy Bottom Metro station, Kennedy Center, and Georgetown Waterfront Park. We have included the time it takes to walk using Bobbi's pace. So get out the walking shoes and enjoy the crisp fresh air.
